Gwen: Join me on my road trip to recovery with (AML) Acute Myeloid Leukemia. I was diagnosed August of 2011 with a rare Leukemia which gets it's name from the rapid growth of this blood cancer disease. My life till this point, 45, wife and mother of 2 teenagers. Have always worked full time and been heavily involved in my community by volunteering for a variety of non profit orgs and organizing charity events. Needless to say my life came to a hault with this diagnosis and my wonderful family and the community around me has stepped up in a big way. As I am still going through treatment, I would like you to come along on my road to recovery, starting at Day 1.
